Loyalty Program for SmithCo Oil Service Plan Members
$50 a year toward a new boiler, just for staying on a service plan
Loyalty credits are SmithCo’s way of saying thank you for the years you stay with us. Every year you maintain a service plan, you bank a $50 credit toward eventual new heating equipment. The credits accumulate quietly in the background while the plan also gets you annual tune-ups, parts coverage, and priority dispatch. After five years, you have $250 sitting there ready to apply against a new boiler. After ten years, you have hit the cap on a furnace, water heater, and boiler combined. It is the longest-running loyalty math in South County heating.
Three simple rules, no fine-print games
Stay on a service plan
Active service plan members earn credits automatically. You do not need to enroll separately. The day your service agreement begins, you start accruing. Plans run on annual terms.
Bank $50 every year
Each full year of plan membership adds $50 to your loyalty credit balance. Credits accumulate up to the equipment cap. Nothing to track yourself, we manage the balance on our end.
Apply credits at purchase
When you eventually buy new heating equipment from SmithCo, your accumulated credits apply directly to the purchase. Subtracted right off the install quote, no rebate forms or claim filings.
Maximum credit you can apply, by equipment type
Different equipment types have different credit caps based on average installed cost. The bigger the install, the higher the cap. Caps are the maximum applicable on a single purchase; remaining balance stays in your account for future equipment.

How credits stack year over year on a service plan
The chart below shows credit accumulation for a service plan member, year by year. Each $50 deposit stays in the balance until you apply it to a new heating equipment purchase. Most members hit a cap somewhere between years 2 and 5 depending on the equipment they eventually buy. After hitting a cap, members typically apply the credits to the next equipment replacement.

Loyalty credits are one of four reasons plan members stay
The $50 per year is a nice long-term benefit, but it is not the primary reason most South County homeowners join a SmithCo service plan. The plan pays for itself in the first year through tune-ups, parts coverage, and emergency dispatch. The loyalty credits are a long-game bonus on top.
Annual Tune-Up Included
Full 12-task tune-up every year at no additional charge. Worth more than the annual plan cost on its own.
Parts Coverage on 50+ Components
When a covered part fails, the part is replaced at no additional charge for the part itself. One major covered repair pays for years of plan cost.
Priority Emergency Dispatch
Plan members move to the front of the queue on 24/7 emergency calls and pay reduced or waived after-hours surcharges.

Loyalty credits, answered
Do I have to sign up for the loyalty program separately?
What happens to my credits if I let my service plan lapse?
Can I use loyalty credits on anything besides heating equipment?
Are credits transferable to a family member or new homeowner?
Can I check my current credit balance?
Do credits stack if I have multiple service plans on different properties?
The sooner you enroll, the sooner the math starts working
Loyalty credits only earn while you are an active service plan member. Every year you wait to enroll is $50 you are not banking toward future heating equipment.
